My Loot, July Birchbox

Every month, I look forward to getting this little gem in the mail.
I love, love, love getting birchbox!
For those of you who don't know, birchbox is a box full of samples that you can get monthly for $10.
Why do I love birchbox?
Because I get the chance to try high end beauty products with very little cost to me. I'm not one to splurge at Sephora, so I like being able to try things I wouldn't usually buy.

This is what I got this month:

AHAVA Purifying Mud Mask
I love masks! Any kind, really. So I always love it when I get them in my box. This one is thick & creamy and made my skin feel baby soft. Definitely a winner! [full size $30]

Alterna Bamboo UV+Color Protection Fade Proof Fluide
I haven't actually used this yet! I'm planning to save it until I re-dye my hair next month. [full size $24]

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner
As luck would have it, I had JUST ran out of my favorite eyeliner. I was so happy to see this FULL SIZE 'sample' in my box. It came in black, which is my go to, and is so incredible smooth. I have to be  honest, though. As much as I like this, it is very similar to my $1 liquid eyeliner by E.L.F. I will happily use this, but I doubt I will be buying it. [full size $15]

Harvey Prince Hello
One of my favorite things about birchbox is that I almost always get purfume samples. This month I got one that I will definitely be putting on my birthday wish list! Hello by Harvey Prince is such a crisp scent, absolutely perfect for summer! [full size $26]

Tea Forte Minteas
I was excited to try these when I saw them. They claim to help your mind focus, but all I could focus on was the gross taste of ginger pear. Yuck! I was definitely turned off by these. [3 tins, $9.95]

Birchbox Exclusive Earbuds
Are you kidding me? These things are too cute! And perfect for the times when baby girl is sleeping and I want to listen to music or watch videos on my laptop!

If you're interested in trying birchbox, I definitely recommend it! Also, if you sign up through me, I can earn points!

Make up Monday

During my freshman year of college, I discovered this brand of make up called e.l.f.
Some of you may have heard of it before, but if not, keep reading.
I fell in love with it.
Not only is it cheap, but it's also really good quality.
When I first started ordering from them, they were online only. They had limited supplies, and didn't have a vast array of items to choose from.
Now, they have grown.
There stuff is being sold in Target stores, and they have increased their online store tremendously.

The reason that I am sharing this with you all is because if you're anything like me, you love make up, but hate the price, and enough is never enough, I always want more.
Well, e.l.f. is having a 'cyber monday' sale, and you can get 70% off of all their mineral make up. This is a great deal. I encourage you all to run on over and stock up.
At checkout, enter the code EHCMM to receive 70% off your mineral make up order.

Tis the season for giving

And who doesn't like cheap, yet meaningful gifts?

Well, if you are a bargain hunter like me, maybe you will appreciate this.

Ann's Bridal Bargains is giving away free photo books [1 per person]. That's right...you can make your own book using digital photos, and they will print it out and send it to you. The book itself is free, the only thing you have to pay for is shipping [$4.95]. Not bad at all.

Just sign up to receive your code. I know I am going to take advantage of this, and so should you [if you have lots of pics and an extra $5]

Go ahead and sell me more

Yesterday was such a good birthday, I wasn't ready for it to end!

I went to work, where my boss threw me a party. It was sweet, and filled with cards, pizza, and cake. I obviously didn't get much accomplished, but oh well :)
That night, some of my friends took me out to dinner. TGI Friday's is the best. I had the gourmet mac-n-five cheese, and it was amazing. I also had some kind of berry margarita, which was also amazing. I would have pictures to show you all, but apparently our waitress couldn't figure out how to use my camera.

Today was my last day of work [well, atleast for a while], and I didn't feel sad at all. I was just excited to get off so that I could go shopping with a friend.

And because I love sharing my bargains with you all..............
This is what I got:

6 shirts, and two pairs of jeans, all for just..........

dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn

$67.00!!

If I were you, I would run to the nearest Wet Seal/JC Penny/Kohl's first thing in the morning.

Yep, this weekend is tax free weekend in Alabama. Not only were there sales galore, but minus tax, too, and I really did good.

Not to mention that Aaron said he was going to take me shopping tomorrow.

Speaking of which......TOMORROW!
Finally, our wait is over. Aaron is finally going to be home for GOOD. or...at least until next summer. How amazing is that?!

So get ready for some possible mushy gushy posts in the near future! HA!

Before I go I just want to thank you all again for all the birthday wishes! Ya'll are too kind :)

Dear Friends,

I am urging you, if you have even ONE ounce of artsy-ness in your body, to go to Michael's Arts & Crafts store.

Last week, when I went to buy the book, I found many things that I lusted after, but didn't need to spend the money on the just yet. Today I went back, and guess what? ALL OF WHAT I WANTED WAS ON SALE!!

How awesome is that??

I got all of this...

[scrapbook paper, an unfinished picture frame, 8x8 scrap pad, metallic rub ons, metallic frames, and a 5x7 scrap pad]

...for just $11.91. Plus a 50% off coupon for next week!!

And, if time allows, I will be posting new crafts soon. :)
