I have a question for all of you avid readers.
I've really been wanting an e-reader. I don't have the funds to get one right now, but I want to go ahead and do my research so I'll be ready when the time comes.
Which one is the best? Tell me the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Because if I'm going to spend THAT much money, I want to make sure I'm getting something great.

I have a Nook and love it. And if you get a Nook we can share books. :) I know they say the screens are the same, but everytime I read on a Kindle I get a migraine, but not with the Nook. There must be some kind of difference and I'm hyper sensitive to it. And the thing about the ereaders is that you read a LOT faster on them. Also, with a Nook you can borrow books from libraries, and as far as I know.. you can't do that with a Kindle. I also don't have a color Nook, I have the regular. Mostly because I know I won't read magazines or kids' books on it.. seems a bit dumb. Other than that.. I love my Nook. BUT I also buy a lot of books and I like Barnes & Noble a million times more than I like Amazon adn I have the BN membership card and yeah. I just like it more than a Kindle. But I'm kind of a snob like that. :)
How funny is this? I just posted about this same topic today. I'm leaning more towards a Nook Color myself. But who knows. I will probably go fritz with it at the store. And my co-worker has a kindle. So I asked her to bring it in one day soon.
(The Hubs mentioned it, and I said it'd be a good birthday present for me. So I'm doing my legwork to let him know exactly what I want.)
The Sony ereader!! I've used them all and this is by far the best!

I don't have one, but I personally think the Nook Color looks the coolest. However, the battery life is bad (a few hours) compared to the Kindle (like a month?).
