Baby it's cold outside...

After 3 LONG days of training, I am finally ready to start my internship on Monday.
Yesterday I went shopping for maternity dress clothes, which was both fun and annoying.
It would have been WAY more fun if I weren't on a budget, but that wasn't the case.
Anyway, I ended up with 4 pairs of slacks, 2 tops, and a belly band [to wear with some of the dress pants I already have] for $120. Luckily, $50 of that was a gift card to Target [which has really cute maternity clothes BUT they're freakin' expensive.] I lucked out and got a few things from Burlington and a few things from Ross. Those places are like lifesavers for your wallet, for real.

Anyways, a few people asked if we were going to do BMS this month. And honestly, I wasn't sure because I just assumed everyone would be busy/broke but since there is some interest, I'm going to leave it up to you all.

Here are the guidelines:

1. You have to send a package to get a package.
2. You can put anything that you want in the package, but please let the value be less than $10.
3. You don't have to buy anything for this. You can totally make things if you want!
4. Send package by the posted date. [I will send this in an email]
5. You won't know who you are getting a package from until it arrives. That being said, please don't tell the person you are sending a package to.
6. Please read the blog of the person who you're sending the package to. That's kind of the whole point of this, right? Show each other love.
7. For now, this BMS is limited to U.S. only [sorry, ya'll]
8. Have fun with it! I mean, who doesn't LOVE to get mail?!

To sign up, just leave a comment with your email address in it so I can contact you with further information. Sign up ends Saturday, Jan. 15th.

Sign me up cutie patootie! ;)

Have you tried Old Navy? I used to get a bunch of cute stuff from there for cheap. If I had mine, I'd send it to you. I had some really adorable clothes that made it through my two pregnancies, my friend Kelli's, and my friend Jen's. HAHA! AND check out Motherhood Maternity (online) and their plain t-shirts? AWESOME. I wore them with everything and just wore a pretty necklace or something. Those were like $7 a piece. :)

I don't know how far along you are but I am 33 weeks and I have mostly worn large sizes of normal clothes... maternity clothes is expensive!! Old Navy is good though... and everything always goes on sale. Good luck on your internship :)

When I was pregnant with Ollie I LOVED getting maternity clothes. Hehe. I got a load of my stuff on ebay too which is cool!

Will you be doing bump pictures!?

Wish Ireland was included in the mail swap.

Would you mind very much if I tried an international one over at my blog?
