Every time I lose a little weight, I want to blog about it.
But then I don't, because I'm afraid I'll relapse, gain it back, & look like a complete idiot.
But it feels different this time.
Last Sunday, I started the Body by Vi shakes.
I had been looking for something to help me kick start a healthier life style and these shakes caught my eye. Luckily, a few of my friends had tried it and told me nothing but good things about it. So I bought it. I was nervous. You mix the shake yourself. I thought it was going to taste terrible. I was wrong. It was yummy, not too sweet.
If you're trying to lose weight you're suppose to drink it twice a day. I chose breakfast & lunch.
I'm not going to lie, the first day I thought I was going to starve to death.
Until I realized that I wasn't actually starving. I wasn't even really hungry.
That sounds crazy, right?
But that was part of my problem. My stomach wouldn't be hungry, I was just craving food. I am an emotional eater. If I'm bored, I eat. If I'm sad/upset/excited, I eat.
The easiest way for me to remedy this? To stay busy.
So that is what I did. Instead of sitting around the house all day waiting to go to work, I went on walks, did zumba, ran errands, got crafty.
After seven days of drinking this shake twice a day & doing moderate exercise, I have lost 2lbs.
I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but it's a start.
I don't crave snacks all day. I don't crave my 3 cups of coffee & large sweet tea every day.
I'm not really missing anything besides a few pounds.
And it feels great!
